Perfect for My Wife

I recently purchased the Envy Walk In Tub for my wife who is sick. She is a fighter so I hope to have many years left with her. However, we both knew she needed some help with basic bathing and such. The best thing about the Envy walk in tub was that it easily fit into the space where our standard tub/shower combo was. My wife can get in and out very quickly due to the walk in feature. While many of the walk in tubs do not offer a the chance to soak, the Envy tub does. My wife can spend a good half hour in the tub just relaxing and ridding her body of all the aches and pains. The tub has a slip resistant floor and a grab bar so it is very safe for her to use. Price is always a concern these days but the Envy tub is extremely affordable. I love the tub and it's price but more importantly, I love that my wife can safely use it.

Early Arthritis Patient

After being diagnosed with early arthritis, I was completely humiliated. I definitely never thought I'd need some sort of therapeutic relief, prescription medication or help in my 40's. My husband purchased the Jacuzzi Walk In Tub to help with my bathing and for pain relief. I was really apprehensive at first but I decided to give it a try this weekend.
I'm so happy! The tub offers the perfect amount of jets so it's perfect for my sensitive skin and bones but strong enough to help ease my arthritis pain. The tub is really easy for me to get in and out of. It is very safe to use and it's effective. One of the greatest benefits of the Jacuzzi walk in tub is that it's easy to clean. My husband can easily get in and wipe it down after each use. Plus, the warranty is amazing and not one that is found everywhere. I love this tub and have seen enormous improvements in my pain from arthritis ever since I started using it.

Five Things to Know Before Purchasing a Walk-in Bathtub

So now that you've decided you want to get a walk-in bathtub there are a few things you need to know before buying one. It's critical to purchase one that is of good quality so you won't run into any trouble in the future. Foreign tubs are risky because the company won't be local and they won't be there every step of the way; there will be less communication with the manufacturer. Also, make sure the company has proper plumbing and electric certifications and are licensed. Most machines don't typically last forever, this is why you'll need to be aware of the warranties or guarantees of the walk-in tub you decide to purchase. There is one part of the tub that must have a lifetime guarantee, click here to see what it is. Experts advise to choose a tub with at least a ten year warranty. There are many styles of walk-in tubs so be sure to check them all out and see what is best for your body type. For example, the size of a tub would be different for someone who is very tall compared to someone who is larger framed. No one wants to overpay for a product that is actually at a much lower value. It's best to compare prices before settling on a tub; just make sure to compare prices for the specific tub you want. There are two main types of tubs; basic and hydrotherapeutic. The basic tub is best for just soaking and washing, while the hydrotherapeutic has air jets and is known to improve blood circulation and pain with joints and muscles. The second type is more expensive but if you need to visit a doctor for your health then the money might just equal, therefore, it could make more sense to get the tub instead. Once you decide what type of tub is best for you, your next step is to get it installed. The only person who is right for the job is a professional.  Failure to not use one will cause complications and additional expenses in the future. Once you have found a professional ask to speak to other clients of theirs to get a review and ask to see their license and their prior history. Bath Day is for Everyone

In this article, the author talks about how his friends used to have a 'bath day' once a week. This then leads to him talking about bathtubs and why people replace theirs. The most common reason is because of age; someone is no longer able to get in and out of their bathtub on their own. Sometimes this is even the main reason why an elderly person would move into a facility. But, you don't have to move; just get a new walk in bathtub instead! The first part of redoing your bathtub is to have a professional come to your home to suss out the situation. Estimates can't be done over the phone because the professional needs to see the plumbing issues, the doorway and more. It's critical to put a tub surround on all walk-in tubs so that water doesn't overflow or cause mold later on. All tubs come in different sizes and capacities so be sure to do your research and figure out who will be using it in the present and future. There are also walk in and roll in showers as well. The difference: a walk in shower has a dam, a short wall, to step over while a roll in shower has a slight ridge or dam. Depending on how much money you want to spend or who the tub or shower is for will determine which one you would purchase. Read more about bath day and the right tub or shower for you in the article.
